Delight in Fall Freebie by Gettin' Scrappy with Britt

Yes, I still CT for Brittney with Gettin' Scrappy with Britt... but geez, that girl has been busy! She did take some time recently to make a fabulous new kit called Delight in Fall, and the best thing is, she's giving it away for FREE! I have to share the story about this layout.

I am sure you do the same thing... you have a kit you have to work with or want to work with but no pictures... what do you do? Go take the pictures of course. lol. Well, with the kids in school and Chloe napping, the only other thing to take pictures of is my dog Chico. So, we wandered outside to the neighbors to take pictures of him in the leaves. Now, if you ever tried to pose a dog for pictures, it is not easy. He was scared of the leaves that I was piling around him, and he did not want to stay put. And the cars that drove past and the school across the street... I am sure they where wondering what in the world I was doing with my dog. It was just to funny.

Sweet Romance - A Collab with Maurine Settler

A while back I made a comment in my blog post that if anyone who I hadn't done collab with wanted to do one with me, to get in contact with me, and someone did... Maurine with Let Me Scrapbook. She came up with this wonderful palette, and from there the name and kit was created.

Before I show you more about the kit, I want to take this time to introduce another CT member... Kim. I am glad to have her here with my team. I've been watching her as a layout artist since she first joined STS and she has grown in her talent in many ways. Welcome about Kimmie! :)

Stuff To Scrap Challenge a Day

There is so much going on at Stuff to Scrap for {Inter} National Scrapbooking Day - being celebrated ALL MONTH LONG - that I just had to share one of my favorite activities.

They are doing a Challenge a Day. And boy, this is so much fun. I am challenging myself to do it every day. Can you image, that's going to be 30 layouts that will be done in only 1 month. Crazy, I know, but I am sticking to it!

Day 1 Challenge - you had to find 2 layouts in the gallery you liked and use them to create your layout. Here's what I came up with.



Day 2 Challenge - You had to use 3 different alphas on your layout. I love this one! And geez, it was challenging. I'm not an alpha lover! lol.




Day 3 Challenge - Scrap about a family member and focus on the at least one thing you love about them. Another hard one, because there isn't just 1 thing I love about this little girl of mine!
